Opening times and rates

Entry times to the Monumental Core:

Park Güell is an iconic space in the city of Barcelona, declared UNESCO World Heritage Site which receives a large numbers of visitors each day. Regulating the entry ensures the conservation and maintenance of the Monumental Core, the most fragile and frequented part of the Park. The Park is open all the year round at the following times:


Low season (winter-autumn)

from January 1rst to March 24 (*):
from 08.30 to 18.15 (last entry time at 17.30)

(*)from February 17th to March 24, extended hours to 19.00h (last entry time at 18.00h)

from October 28 to December 31: 
from 08.30 to 18.15 (last entry time at 17.30)

Mid season (spring)

from March 25 to April 29: 
from 08.00 to 20.30 (last entry time at 19.30)

High season (spring-summer)

from April 30th to August 26:
from 08.00 to 21.30 (last entry time at 20.30).

Mid season (summer-autumm)

from August 27 to October 27:
from 08.00 to 20.30 (last entry time at 19.30).

(*) If the ticket is purchased at the ticket offices or ATMs located in the Park itself and at the Lesseps and Vallcarca metro stations (L-3), the availability will be subject to the number of visitors already in the Park, up to a maximum of 400 people every half an hour.

We recommend that you buy your tickets in advance. If you arrive with a printed ticket or show the QR code on your smartphone or tablet, you can go straight to the relevant entry points (see map). Tickets are assigned on the basis of time-slots, and you can enter the Monumental Core up to 30 minutes after your allocated start time. For example, if you have a reservation for 9:00, you can enter the precinct up until 9:30. If you are collecting your tickets from the ticket office, we recommend that you arrive at the Park in good time to avoid missing your allocated time-slot.

To benefit from any type of discount or free tickets, you will need to present relevant documentation showing that you are entitled to those discounts when purchasing your ticket.

All visitors, including children ages 0 to 6, must show the appropiate entry ticket, including where entry is free of charge.
