Organized groups

What is an organised group?

A group of between 10 and 70 people who make a reservation and/or purchase a joint ticket and have a single ticket for entering the Park Güell precinct

Specific conditions for group reservations:

How long in advance can ticket reservations be made?
Reservation can be made up to 3 months in advance.

How much do you have to pay to make the reservation?
20% of the total price of the reservation.

When is the rest paid?
The remaining 80% must be paid 7 days before the date of the visit.

What if the number of tickets wanted has dropped?
The reservation can be modified up to at most 20% more or less than the number requested in the initial reservation.

Until when can the tickets be cancelled?
Up to 48 hours before the visit. In this case, 50% of the total charge for the cancelled tickets will be refunded.

Is there a right to a refund on the actual day of the visit?
No, no refund will be made on the actual day of the visit.

How do we get to the Park precinct?
If you have the voucher (receipt for the reservation you should go to the Entrance Checking Point on the steps of Plaça de la Natura), with the correct number of people forming part of this group.

What are the times for entering the Park with a reservation?
Reservations are for a time-band and you can enter the Park up to 30 minutes after the starting time of the assigned time-band (for example, if you have a reservation for 9:00, you can get into the precinct up to 9:30). No entry will be permitted once the time-band has passed, and you will not be entitled to a refund of the amount paid for the ticket.

Is there any specific programme for schools?
Yes, there is the "Park Güell and schools” programme, which will give schools from European Union member countries a chance to visit the Monumental Core on the following terms:

1) Visit with guide service and car park reservation at a price of € 62/group (VAT included). 30 people maximum per each group. The conditions regulating the programme must be met.
2) Free visit (free entry, not guided and without any coach reservation).
It is necessary to book in advance in both cases. Interested schools should contact the Commercial Department of Park Güell at:

What rights do official guides have?
Park Güell is a cultural asset of national interest, which means that, in order to act as a guide under the Catalonia Tourism Act, the guide must be in possession of a tourist guide qualification issued by the Government of Catalonia (the Generalitat). Section 65.1 of the Catalonia Tourism Act lays down that anyone can act as a tourist guide activity, except inside monuments declared to be cultural assets of national interest and museums registered in the Catalonia Museum Registry. Any persons not accredited as official guides who are detected carrying out such functions will be required to cease doing so.

Official guides accredited by the Government of Catalonia who are accompanying groups have a free ticket as long as they can prove their status at the ticket offices in the Park. Reservations can be made for up to three free tickets for group guides.

Is there a coach park for tourist coaches?
Coaches for groups visiting the Monumental Core can reserve a parking place when they purchase their tickets, which will give them the right to an hour and a half’s parking in the Zona Bus coach park.

If the coach park is not full, any coach can use it by paying € 9 (for an hour and a half’s parking).

If the coach park is full, coaches can pick up their passengers and let them alight. We would advise them to then go to the Zone Blava (blue zone) for coaches located at number 76 on Carrer de les Camèlies (consult the Zona Bus map here).
